Spruce Up for Spring

As the sun starts to peer out (and snow begins to melt in my neck of the woods), we need to pack away the Uggs and Northface and get back to the real world of fashion. Bring back your funk with these fav's for Spring:

Pair dark wash skinny's (or even better: jeggings) with a floral top and flannel for a funky spin on this feminine print! Pair with simple bangles and boots or flats!

a SIMPLY creative halloween

Where can you can you find your basic tees and leotards and turn them into something spooktacular this holiday? None other than the great American Apparel. From a fabulous jellyfish to the tiny troll dolls we used to have as children, you can find a little bit of everything at American Apparel right now. As a clever way to sell their famous basic items, they put together a collection of costumes for women, men, children and even little Fido. Check out my personal favs:

A classy, sheik sun and moon duo. The sun consists of a gold leotard, high waist gold skirt and twist scarf while miss moon is all dolled up in a flower lace jumper and twist scarf. A clever costume to wear this Sunday with a friend or significant other. Check out American Apparel for more fabulous costumes.

Song for your weekend playlist:
Bruises by Chairlift : a bubbly song from a band based in Brooklyn. Chairlift intended on making background music for haunted houses in Boulder, Colorado but instead became an electric/synth-pop hit.

Have a fabulous Halloween and stay classy!
